Contact The Governor

The following links are offered to give you the opportunity to make your voice heard in the Governor's office.

Voice an Opinion - Here you have the ability to share whatever concerns, opinions, or ideas that you may want the Governor to know.

Request Assistance - The Governor has created this online form if you have a specific request for assistance that you believe the Governor's office may be able to assist with.

Application for Pardon - Individuals seeking a pardon are encouraged to use this online application. It provides comprehensive instructions and information, and may also be printed.

Advocating for an Incarcerated Individual - This link will take you to a page you will have to print. You can complete this form, and send it back to the Governor's email address at Govinfo@wisconsin.gov. Generally, these forms are forwarded to the Department of Corrections for review and response. We strongly encourage that if you utilize this form, send an email to the above address simultaneously, informing the Governor you have submitted this form, and are expecting a meaningful response.

Inmate Advocacy Communication Form - This link will send you to a form that must be printed. It is designed to give inmates the opportunity to express their voice to the Governor, and raise concerns. However; please note that in the vast majority of cases, if it all, the Governor's office does not review these forms. Rather, they are forwarded to the DOC for its own internal review and response. If you are going to support an inmate by sending this form, we encourage you to also send an email to the Governor's office informing them that you expect the Governor's office to meaningfully respond to the form.

Apply to Serve - There are a number of civilian Boards and Commissions that serve under the Governor, several of which are directly responsible for various elements of our criminal-legal system, such as the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and the Council on Offender Reentry. Any citizen of the state can apply to serve on these boards, and if you are interested in pursuing this process, we highly encourage you to consider applying for any open positions.

We sincerely hope you find these links helpful. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions, concerns, or comments!!!
